WebPlume
The objectives for decontamination must be verifiable and feasible. In Rosa II it is proposed to build up the objective from:
- Requirements with respect to onacceptable risks, related to suitability for a certain function or an agreement regarding to the behaviour of the plume (for example: stable final situation leading to limitation of maintenance).
- Expectations belonging to the measures taken, usually expressed as concentrations, timeframe or source removal.
In this webportal a calculation tool is offered. Two applications are possible. The tool can be used to:
- Find the risks involved with spreading of the contamination along ground water
- Find the clean up value in the source area to come to an acceptable remainder risk
