Atelier: river studies in practice

For all river engineers and scientists that sometimes wonder:
  • How to communicate with river managers, and how to solve their challenges?
  • How to set up an effective measurement campaign?
  • How to select an appropriate modelling approach?
  • How to identify a fit-for-purpose model?

Deltares is proudly hosting a side event within the international conference River Flow 2020. We will address the typical questions we face as river engineering consultants in projects. We will do this in real case-examples for rivers in Brazil and India. The questions will raise as they would in your own projects. You will be guided to resolve these and we will demonstrate how Deltares dealt with these questions.

In this event, you will bridge science to practice and apply the latest scientific development to realistic cases.
