Deltares Software Days: South-East Asia

All enthusiast or new users of Deltares software in the South-East Asia region are invited to join us in Bangkok for the annual Deltares Software Days: South-East Asia. Registration is open!

This event is the perfect opportunity to learn about the latest developments in the field of river basin planning, urban flood management and coastal & ocean modelling.

The program provides the opportunity to learn, interact and exchange ideas with experts from the region and the Netherlands. It contains a one- day seminar on “Hydro software to support policy and real-time decision making” and two days of workshops, training sessions, a poster exhibition and an interesting side events on Urban Resilience and Disaster Risk Reduction as part of the Youth Forum.

Through the DSD-SEA 2019 website, you can register for the hydro software seminar and each of the workshops and side events to join and share your knowledge at this prestigious event. Registration for all the events is free but mandatory.

Students and Young Professionals
This event encourages and supports engagement and skill development of the students and young professionals in the water sector. At least one session in the event will be organised by and for the students and young professionals.

Software Workshops and Multi-Disciplinary Side-Events
Follow workshops, led by experts, learn more about the use and application of various software packages relevant for all water managers, such as Delft3D FM Suite, Delft-FEWS and wflow.

Focus of the event
The event will focus on exchange of experiences, knowledge, development and good practices in the water sector in the South-East Asia region.

The event aims to attract practitioners, scientists, MSc and PhD students, as well as young professionals from the broad spectrum of organisations and individuals working in the water sector in South-East Asia.

Organisation
The Deltares Software Days South-East Asia – Edition 2019 is jointly organised by Deltares, Hydro-Informatics Institute (HII) and Kasetsart University (KU).
