Singapore Center on Urban Resilience (SeCURE) Workshop

On September 12 and 13, 2019 an international workshop will be conducted in Singapore to better understand the ongoing global and regional efforts on urban resilience, including known risks, available tools and data and resilience frameworks.

The aim of this International SeCURE Scoping workshop is to identify knowledge gaps in urban resilience and develop a network of international partner institutions to help address these knowledge gaps. Five thematic areas will be addressed:
• Urban planning;
• Governance and design strategies;
• Urban infrastructure systems;
• Water and subsurface systems; and
• Energy systems, food, nature and biodiversity systems.

Participants to the workshop come from international organisations, academic institutions, Singapore government agencies and the industry. The workshop is being supported by the National Research Foundation of Singapore.
