The Ministry of Economic Affairs (EZK) requested Deltares to summarize the cooling water regulations as part of the technical feasibility study on a 2nd nuclear power plant at Borssele. The letter aims to set out the guidelines for cooling water discharges and abstractions. This letter is a summary of currently known regulations and is not intended to be exhaustive.
