Henk.Wolters@deltares.nl LinkedIn profileIr. Henk Wolters is a senior specialist with more than 25 years experience in integrated water management, scenario analysis and policy evaluation. He is currently coordinating the working theme ‘future studies and scenario analysis’ within the unit Economy, Scenarios and Innovation of Deltares. He was the project leader for the part of Deltares in the Blue Growth study on the present and future sustainable use of Europe’s seas and oceans. He has lead and co-operated in various water management policy evaluations at national level. He has been advisor and coordinator for various scenario analysis projects, supporting the managing directorate of the Dutch national water bodies, the national implementation of the Water Framework Directive (KRW), WB21 and Natura 2000. He has coordinated yearly reports on implementation progress and policy evaluation of Dutch water management, and co-ordinated Deltares’ contribution to an evaluation of the Dutch water management policy. Transfer of knowledge and education have been an integral part of his career, e.g. by developing a course on water management, and by co-editing a handbook on Social Learning.
