In 2017, the 5th India Water Week -a multidisciplinary dialogue in the form of a conference- will address the theme “Water and Energy for Inclusive Growth”. During the inauguration ceremony H.E. President Ram Nath Kovind of India said the modernisation of India is dependent on the modernisation of its water management.

Deltares experts are contributing to multiple seminars and panel discussions throughout the conference. On Wednesday 11 October, we are involved in a seminar on “The Dutch Integrated Approach: An essential success factor in meeting complicated water challenges.” Our presentation will demonstrate the role of data and modelling in integrated water resources management. In the afternoon of October 11, we will contribute to a panel discussion on “Integrated Planning of Water Resources for Optimal Benefits to the Society.”

On Thursday 12 of October we will chair the technical seminar “Hydrological Modelling for Planning and Operation for Water Resources System.”
