Strategic research activity plan 2024 published
Deltares has published the Activity Plan Mission-driven research 2024. It outlines the main lines of the Strategic Research that Deltares will carry out in 2024.
The Strategic Research is essential for maintaining and developing the knowledge of Deltares and the Netherlands in the field of water and subsurface. Deltares’s taking the relevant global, European and Dutch social challenges, ambitions and missions as a starting point in the programming of our research programs and the commitment and development of our knowledge facilities.
We have concretised this mission-driven way of working into five ambitious goals with great social importance, the so-called 'moonshots': Delta's remain habitable, Making the world safer from flooding, Resilient and healthy water and subsurface systems, Sustainable energy transition, Resilient infrastructure.
