With a background in applied mathematics and a PhD in uncertainty analysis in numerical models, Hanneke understands the power of data and models. Her enthusiasm is infectious: she believes in learning by doing, experimenting in small steps and continuous improvement. Through strategic collaboration and innovation, she brings science and technology together to advance our sector.

Hanneke brings a wealth of experience as a former manager and member of the strategic management team at Deltares. That experience gives her a strong strategic focus: she always sees the big picture and knows how technology and science can reinforce each other to increase social impact.
