About Rolien van der Mark
Dr. Ir. C.F. (Rolien) van der Mark is a River Engineer, working as a senior advisor-researcher in the field of navigability of inland waterways. Her expertise focusses on the interactions between the waterways / infrastructure and navigation, i.e., how changing waterway conditions affect navigability and how vessels impact and use the waterway infrastructure.
She has been involved in and in charge of consultancy and research projects dealing with for example the climate-resilience of inland waterway systems, water depth forecasting for navigational purposes, ship-induced flows and maintenance dredging.
