About Ton Peters

Mr. Ton Peters is an expert advisor working for Deltares with a broad expertise in the fields of electro technical engineering, geotechnical instrumentation, geotechnical engineering, risk assessment, climate change adaption, crises management and business administration. In his current position he is responsible for international business development and project management of European research projects and research projects in cooperation with international industry.

Project examples are: soft soil behavior (CREEP), impact of extreme weather on critical infrastructure (INTACT), safe life extension of ageing infrastructure (SafeLife-x) and a new method to seal leakage in soil using biotechnology (BioSealing).

Mr. Ton Peters is also a member of the Deltares crises management team that can mobilize vital expertise 24/7 in case of hazards like flooding, droughts and construction failure.
