Modelling coastline evolution : practices for the setup of coastline models

This document provides guidelines for the setup of coastline models along the Dutch coast. These guidelines are based on research of the performance of coastline models at Domburg within the framework of the KPP B&O kust programme (Deltares, 2011 and 2012). Chapter 2 provides an overview of available coastline models, Chapter 3 the main considerations for the setup of a coastline model and Chapter 4 the relevance of different model components. These guidelines provide minimum requirements for coastline modelling.
